This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math manipulatives during center time gives students the opportunity to work on math skills by counting up to 20, sorting items by color and shape, as well as putting them into categories such as large and small. Other items such as matching locks with numbers and scooping “ice cream” into cones helps students work on their fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination. We also need a light table center kit as well. Students will follow a daily rotating schedule so they will all have the opportunity to work with various math materials. Your generous donation will help students grow their math skills.
