My Students
I have some really great kids this year. They are wonderful to work with and they are actually interested in learning! Many of them are from low economic status. I love working with these students because they try so hard!
I want to teach my students a love of history.
We are living through a unique moment of history right now with the Covid pandemic going on. I want to teach them where they came from so they know where they're going.
My Project
These resources will be incredibly helpful for my students. I have found that many of them learn best when they can connect the material to their own lives.
I can't think of a better way to connect history to their own lives than for my student to physically touch and handle historical artifacts.
You will supply all my students with hands-on experiences touching and experiencing history from Native American history, Explorers, through the 20th century. Students will be able to commute with their peers while they are interacting with the materials.
