At the end of the year, my students are going through testing and grades and they are exhausted by the end of it. I want to give them something to look forward to in our day. Reading Percy Jackson is the perfect activity for them! I want to show my students that reading a great book can be an incredible experience. While they read this book, we are going on an adventure through myths and legends of Greek mythology. They will be engaged with all the action and drama from the book. When we finish, my hope is that they will spend the rest of their summer reading the rest of the Percy Jackson series because they will be so enthralled in the story.

About my class
