My Students
EHS is an amazing school with a student population that is extremely diverse. Our students have the benefit of attending an incredibly diverse school. This allows for students to be exposed to many different cultures and learn from each other. EHS is the hub for English Learners. We have approximately 22 different ethnicities and just as many languages. EHS has a large homeless population and more than half of the student population is eligible for free and reduced lunch. Although many of our students struggle with many daily life challenges, the atmosphere here at school is amazing. The sense of community at our school is incredible. We work hard to support all students with all backgrounds and this is why we are such a great school.
My Project
The integration of LCD tablets in the classroom will benefit students in a variety of ways. The most important contribution will be through engagement.
Students love interacting in different ways and sharing their thoughts.
The LCD tablets will allow students to easily write down their thoughts and enable them to feel comfortable referring to their notes during discussions. Since the tablets erase with a click of a button, the clean up and reset for more opportunities to capture ideas is simple and efficient.
This project will help students stay engaged and focused on collecting their thoughts in a new and exciting way.
