My Project

Our science classroom depends on hands-on activities that engage all children in the learning process, especially those with special needs.

We are seeking support to acquire a hydroponic system for our science classroom, and we believe this will have significant benefits for our young learners.

The hydroponic system will provide the children with an interactive STEM education and aid them in learning about the role of nutrients, water, and light in plant growth.

This project connects closely with our Exercise unit, where we are teaching our children about healthy lifestyle choices. Growing their own vegetables using hydroponics will teach students about healthy food options and the importance of fresh produce. They will gain an appreciation for nutritious foods and learn about where their food comes from. Finally, we hope that by engaging in hydroponic gardening, our young learners will foster skills such as responsibility, patience, and teamwork.

To make this vision a reality, we are seeking support to purchase a hydroponic system, including a kit, seeds, pebbles, and other materials for our science classroom. Your support will directly impact the education and growth of our preschoolers, providing them with invaluable experiences that will shape their understanding of science and the natural world.
