My students need chromebooks to flexibly work on their writing during our daily rotations. Adding 6 more chromebooks will give more students opportunities to work at their level daily.
My students get the unique opportunity to be with me for two grade levels. They are with me for 3rd grade then 4th grade. These students show kindness and caring in many ways. Some of my students do not have access to technology within their homes but when they are given access to technology, have created magnificent projects.
I hope to include the flexibility of using technology as a tool to further learn about the world surrounding our classroom and write using technology to express their thoughts.
I foster the creativity in our classroom by enjoying flexible seating options which gives us an opportunity to collaborate everyday. We enjoy dance party brain breaks that add some silliness to our great day!
My Project
The Chromebooks will make a difference in our classroom by giving students more access to technology and to resources that will expand their writing. Technology is a tool that will help students learn how to use the Chromebooks and get sufficient practice keyboarding when doing their class assignments.
Giving access to technology is like giving students a magic school bus to learn about far away places and times.
This year we write biographies, learn about Native Americans and explore the universe. These technological tools will help students learn at their own pace. These tools can help students succeed within their writing, their learning goals, and on subsequent state testing.
