My Students

Children in the twenty first century need twenty first century technology to learn. My goal is to provide my students with the most up-to-date technology for use in learning in the classroom.

My students have many learning and life challenges that they face on a daily basis.

They are students in an urban district with special needs. They are in a specialized class to meet their learning needs. I want to be able to better meet these needs through the use of these supplies in the science curriculum. These students need more than just a textbook and pictures to learn. I also want to show my students the value of hard work in overcoming these challenges.

My Project

I am requesting 4 laptops and 8 pairs of headphones for my students to use in the classroom. Computers are one of the most useful and influential educational and technological products available. If my students are given the opportunity to use this resource in the classroom, it could change their learning tremendously. These resources can be used for research, to find information, to create projects in a variety of different forms, and to learn in the most effective twenty first century way. The possibilities truly would be endless.

This technology can be used to motivate, educate, collaborate, and change the views these children have about education.

I will be able to incorporate this amazing 21st century technology in my classroom with students who may not otherwise have access. By incorporating technology into the classroom I hope to create inquisitive, bright, educated individuals who will have the confidence to go for their goals and be successful.
