This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I do my very best to keep my students engaged in their learning. We dance, sing songs and read a lot. My students are very enthused by technology. I use it as often as I can. Unfortunately, my current laptop is out of date and a lot of their educational time is wasted.

My students live in a low socio- economic area.

My students are primarily from a Latino background in which parents are mostly Spanish speaking. My school is still trying to gather resources. We have some technology for students but not all is available for all students. I want my students to constantly be engaged and be prepared for the this 21st century society.

My Project

By having a Mac book pro will help my students become more engaged in mathematics as they will be able to hear their lessons and view the animations to help them understand new concepts. This type of technology will help them with their reading as we engage in readers workshop and I will be able to present PowerPoint and prezzie presentations.

My project will make a difference because my students will have up to date technology in which they will no longer have educational delays.

With this Mac book they will be engaged to the fullest during instruction.
