My Students

Our school is a smaller Title I school. We are a community school- we focus on building a strong community in the classroom, throughout the grade level, and the whole school. We serve students from throughout the city, so my students come from a variety of backgrounds. 25-30% of my class each year are second language learners.

My students' favorite part of the day is working on group projects.

They love engineering, hands-on science, math games, and book clubs. I love it when they want to learn things beyond the lesson or idea that we talked about in class and they love to share their findings with their classmates.

My Project

My students love to do hands-on engineering activities, as well as doing fun seasonal activities. I love supporting other teachers who have taken the time to create amazing lessons at different levels that can be used as enrichment or support for my students.

Teachers Pay Teachers has so many great resources I would love to be able to get more engineering and art lessons, and differentiated may do enrichment activities for my students.

It is easy to get excited about so many great options available, but buying all the amazing lessons does add up. These Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards would give our class the resources to do more of these engaging activities.
