This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to support a project that merges artistry with environmental awareness. Our initiative involves empowering students to explore the pressing issues of climate change, recycling, and conservation through ceramic artwork.

In this project, students will utilize underglaze, text, and stencils to create designs that reflect their perspectives on climate change, recycling and conservation.

By incorporating these themes into their ceramic pieces, students will not only develop their artistic skills but also engage with important global issues in a tangible and visually impactful way.

Your support will directly contribute to providing students with the necessary materials, such as underglazes, stencils, and ceramic supplies, to bring their visions to life. Additionally, your contribution will help fund educational resources and workshops to guide students in mixing basic colors to create complex hues, further enhancing their surface design capabilities.
