My students from central Illinois are part of a public preschool program that services both special education and general education students. This program allows many students with differing abilities and backgrounds to collaborate and learn together. My curious preschoolers love coming to school and engaging in many different experiences.
Energetic, excited, and engaged; my preschoolers are ready to explore the world around them.
Though they may be little, their play and exploration is building the foundation for the rest of their lives.
My Project
These sensory engaging materials will help my students explore their world through a hands-on approach. Whether they are engaging in sensory experiences to calm down because they are upset or to deepen their play experience, these materials will heighten their creativity and environmental awareness. Sensory play is so important for preschool students, especially students needing a little more exposure to these types of materials. These materials help them engage in and learn about the world around them through all of their senses.
With these new sensory tools, my preschoolers will be able to gain a deeper awareness of the world that they live in.
By giving my students the tools and materials that they need to be successful, I can begin to help them explore the many things that this world has to offer. Thank you so much for all your support!
