Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I purchase most of my materials that I use with my students. Classrooms have promethean boards and students have their own chromebooks but social workers do not have either. I would love to be able to have an iPad or two to load with some of the amazing resources that are online that I know my students would benefit from in session. Many of these resources graph student's progress within their programs which is always motivating for students to see!
I love working with the students at my building and helping them to build their self-esteem, teaching them problem solving skills, and coping skills.
Many students learn best by visuals and some friends do even better with exciting graphics that hold their attention and feel almost game like.
