Using Graphic Novels to Attract Readers

My Project

Graphic novels are among the most popular and most checked-out books in our classroom library. The art and dialogue structure of the graphic novel allows even my most reluctant or struggling readers to engage with complex storytelling as they continue to grow their reading skills and foster a love of reading.

Graphic novels also support social-emotional growth through relatable diverse characters and narratives.

Therefore, we want to expand the variety we can offer in our classroom graphic novel library so we can keep getting new exciting titles into the hands of young readers!
