This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I will be a new high school math teacher and very excited to give students the opportunity to love math and love to learn new concepts with math.

In my classroom, I want to build a community that leads students to success.

I want to create a home away from home for my students. In order to create a safe environment, classroom management is an important aspect to help students be successful in every day situations. My goal is to help students be successful not only in the math classroom but also in every day tasks.

My Project

Our students love to get involved in the classroom. Using hands-on activities allows students to be engaged in the classroom. Our classroom is a lot of worksheets and test. With the Jenga blocks our students will be able to play some math games and use the Jenga blocks to be engaged.

The Jenga Blocks will allow the students to be hands on and engaged in the lesson.

There is tons of games that the student can use Jenga blocks for. Allowing the students to play games along with learning will keep them engaged and want to learn.

I have seen how using games in the classroom has allowed students to be engaged.
