My Students

My fifth grade students are future scientists, tech innovators, engineers, artists, and mathematicians who are eager to change the world. We are a small university town with a sizable ELL population as well as a Title I assisted school filled with students who are eager to take ownership of their learning and build 21st-century skills.

They are critical thinkers and hands-on learners who are eager to learn how to solve the problems of tomorrow.

My students are passionate about learning and your donation will make it possible for them to solve real-world problems through critical thinking and design processes.

My Project

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, but what STEM education focuses on is much more than these subjects. The focus of STEM education is how these subjects relate to each other and how they can be used to solve real-world problems.

STEM encourage kids to develop skills in the core disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

These materials will help students practice critical thinking skills and engineering principles through play. Coding, circuits, energy transfer, and many more skills don't seem as daunting when practiced through these hands-on tools. The Tinkering Labs Electric Motors Catalyst STEM Kit gives students a fun, hands-on introduction to how electrical circuits work to run everyday electronic devices.
