Using Dissection to Understand Animal Classification

Help me give my students the opportunity to study animal classification by dissecting 5 different animals.

My Project

Studying Classification with Cladograms Kit will allow my biology students to experience how five distinct species of animals have similarities and differences that are not available to see with the naked eye.

My students might not remember the information shared in class, but they remember the rat dissection!

My goal for this project is to allow my students to enjoy their experience with biology and understand how animals affect their lives in ways that they have not been aware of before. I love to watch students who have never had a chance to dissect an animal learn to enjoy the physical parts of biology science.

What makes my students special is they are willing to try new things and do their best in very trying personal situations.
