Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

All of the best teachers "borrow" material from colleagues to use as inspiration for creating their own lessons. I am certain this is how the idea for Teachers Pay Teachers was born! Teachers Pay Teachers is the world's most popular online marketplace for original educational resources, housing material created FOR teachers BY teachers.

My students (and my school's other 9th- and 10th-grade English students) need creative, engaging, and FUN standards-aligned activities that can get our students EXCITED about learning!

The materials that will be purchased with the requested TPT gift cards will be used to bring current events into the classroom, to use variations of social media platforms to appeal to learners in today's digital world, and to give teachers like me the opportunity to build fun and exciting lessons around visually-appealing material.
