Our boys and girls basketball players are determined and hard working. They put more into learning the game and developing as players more than most. They are all seventh and eighth graders. They are enthusiastic and energetic. We are in a rural area with no outdoor parks or places to play football or basketball except in the school setting.
They want to become better basketball players but do not always have the funds to pay for what they need to improve their skills.
School budgets are spread thin with physical education and athletics the last to receive funding.
My Project
We are fortunate to have two boys basketball teams at our school. We like to film practice nd individual workouts so that players and coaches can review their workouts and track their performances.
We need an iPad to film games and practice to help players improve their skills.
This iPad Pro will be used for individual improvement as well as team improvement. Players will be videoed by managers and then the player and coach will sit and watch the film and create a plan for improvement. The team will watch practices together and then work on improving what they saw. Last but definitely not least, games will be filmed and reviewed by the whole team and look for ways to improve.
This iPad will be used everyday in practice or in games.
