This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My classroom is in a former computer lab. The good news is there is a lot of valuable counter space for work and collaboration. The bad news is there is not a lot of wall space and only one dry erase board. This leaves me with limited space to build and display anchor charts.

Anchor charts not only improve students' understanding of concepts, but gives students a resource to refer to later.

Having an easel on wheels to display current anchor charts will allow all students to access that important information.
