This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The USGHS Football Team will be doing summer strength and conditioning, and the items on this list, including Carnation Breakfast Essentials High Protein Oral Supplement and whey protein powder, will make a positive difference in our students.

These items, including protein bars and Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy - Pre Workout with Green Tea Energy Powder, will help ensure proper nutrition and recovery during the summer, because many of our student athletes do not have the ability to have balanced nutrition daily when school is not in session.

We want to provide as much of that for them as we can during the summer months.

Our goal is to increase strength and speed during the summer, so we can be more competitive in the fall, while teaching kids healthy habits they can use for lifetime fitness after they leave school.

The student athletes are a special group of kids, because they are making it a priority to attend summer workouts when it is not required. They want to improve their overall health and performance while learning good fitness and nutrition habits.
