This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an educator, I create lesson plans to meet our Common Core Standards. My lessons in language arts, mathematics and small group Instruction can be reinforced with the supplemental lessons in Teachers Pay Teachers. Coming home, I have so many ideas that I dedicate my own time to make my students' learning more engaging.
Using Teachers Pay Teachers to access lessons in phonics instruction will benefit my students in language arts and writing.
I often find language arts supplemental curriculum aligned to our common core standards, that is already written and created by other teachers. This will save me time and allow me to give my students lessons that are hands-on and common core aligned.
My students love to take home their work to show their families. Having these lessons available is important to their families and to my students. They need more practice at school and at home in reading and writing. These materials will provide them with the extra support they need. I have worked for hours creating assessments and handouts in many academic areas. I feel there are so many creative teachers that have already made and published such handouts. Having this donation will help me get these handouts ready for my students, months in advance.
