Help me give my students costumes, a cash register and other tools to add to our monthly themes in our Dramatic Play Area!

My Project

I like to change my dramatic play area each month. My themes are: The PK Pizza Parlor, Sweet Treats Bakery, Little Tykes Grocery Store, Little Paws Vet and Cool Stuff Ice Cream Shop. I try to add new items each year as well as new themes. Next year I would like to add on a beauty/ barber shop! I think the children will really enjoy that! One of my students this year said to me, “I really liked the Pizza Shop and then there was the bakery that was so fun but now I really, really like the Grocery Store!" These costumes, cash register and other tools will help foster their imagination for play but also as a future job or career! The dramatic play themes I have chosen are all places/jobs the children are familiar with.
