Use of computer technology to help students with special needs

Help me give my students enhanced education as I continue to provide hybrid learning. Having a larger computer will help students with special needs to accomplish their daily tasks and provide a smoother learning experience.

My Students

My students are very diverse in terms of ethnicity and socio-economic background. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, ethnic knowledge, prior experiences, and culture to our school. We are a Title I school in a low-income community. I have some students who receive special education services for social or emotional challenges and others with learning disabilities.

My students are creative and enthusiastic about learning.

My school provides 1:1 Chromebook for students. They would benefit from a variety of educational applications to help increase their study skills to fulfill their success.

My Project

My school provides 13" Chromebook for students. We start the hybrid instruction and most students with special needs return to the campus. It is a big challenge for students with special needs to accomplish their learning through the small screen.

The larger screen will make it easier for students with special needs to accomplish their tasks and provide a smoother learning experience to become active learners in classroom.

A larger size computer helps keep my student's progress on a close eye. Computer technology facilitate a broader range of educational activities to meet a variety of needs of students with mild learning disorders.
