Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach fourth grade to a beautiful bilingual group. My students are from New Jersey from low-income households. Most of my students are newcomers to this country who are full of dreams.

These children are faced with challenges every day.

Their parents are unable to purchase the necessary items for them to have in school every day.

My Project

My students are eager learners. In my district we are currently only remote learning and with the use of a document camera, learning will be more effective during our lessons.

A document camera is an important tool to help my students learn remotely during this pandemic.

I will be able to teach skills through this document camera. When teaching math, I can show my students step by step how to solve a problem visually. A document camera has many benefits and will allow my students to succeed during such a challenging school year. The laptop stand will allow me to provide an eye level contact during our Zoom meetings.
