My Project
Using a kidney table for ALL small-group instruction and interactive learning in a 5th-grade classroom is a practical way to facilitate intervention and support! I require two of these amazing tables since we are an integrated classroom with two teachers!
The kidney table provides a central, focused space where I can work with small groups of students allowing me to meet their needs!
The table’s shape allows me to be near all group members, making it easier to provide personalized instruction. At the kidney table, the teacher can conduct targeted lessons or interventions to provide the support needed to each member of that group in rotation. The tables will also allow center to run functionally without interruptions to their transitions.
