This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are brave, resilient, and full of potential—but they face daily challenges in a low-resourced urban environment. This project will provide them with tools like emotionally themed literature, calming kits, and SEL games to help them build emotional regulation, self-advocacy, coping skills, and a strong self-image. These resources will help students focus, feel safe, and better engage in learning.

My goal is to create a supportive space where every child feels seen and valued.
