This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Please help my students learn about the importance of gardening by providing us with raised beds, gardening tools, seeds, and seed starting supplies. I have noticed that students who participate in gardening projects are more likely to continue gardening in the future, and it helps them love and appreciate eating fruits and vegetables. Eating fruits and vegetables has many benefits, including reducing obesity. Most of my students do not understand where their foods come from. This project will open the door to the beautiful possibility of gardening. Please help my students get exposed to gardening by funding this project. Thank you for your generosity.
