Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our middle school students are eager to receive new items to stand out and out perform at our next cheer and dance competition. It is crucial in a cheer competition to have matching pompoms and shoes. As our students get judged by the panelist and we want to ensure our student cheerleaders receive all their points for coordinating and having same colored shoes and accessories.
Your generous donations will allow more students the opportunity to participate in the sport of cheerleading while feeling confident.
At no point do we want our student cheerleaders to feel as if they cannot participate in the sport due to not being able to afford the proper uniform and accessories, including the requested shoes, pom-poms, tutus, and fans. Not only are the items that are being donated going to give our students confidence through their apparel but increasing the spirit through the megaphone will add more excitement to our chants, getting the crowd more involved. Besides using the megaphone for crowd involvement, we are thrilled to have a cheer designated speaker so we can practice our dances with the correct audio and most importantly being able to hear the audio. Finally, the posters we will be creating will let the crowd know when to chant with us. Your generous donations will make a difference to our middle school cheerleaders.
