My Project
Social emotional learning and techniques are just as important as the academic content we are teaching. Having an area of the room that is dedicated to practicing these techniques or just to have time to oneself is extremely important. But, having that space be welcoming and homey to provide students with that extra level of comfort during a difficult time is even more important. This rug will provide our students with a soft surface to sit on and practice calming techniques or to sit back with a book to read.
