Help me give my students a printer for the classroom. Being that this is my second year teaching, I inherited a printer that the previous teacher left behind.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching low-income students in an inner-city school you get to see the disadvantages and struggles they face. My students' biggest struggle with distance learning was not having the supplies that they needed to support their learning
Even though we live in a digital world, my students expressed that they prefer to complete assignments on paper as opposed to digitally.
They compile their notes in an interactive notebook which is easier to flip through pages rather than scrolling through digital slides to try to find an assignment. With the pandemic, we have restricted copying procedures.
Teachers do not have access to copy machines like we used to. Having a laser printer in the classroom will be super beneficial for my needs as well as students' needs.
