My Students

This year I am teaching 5th grade math and science! I have two periods of science and two periods of math! This year I got to loop up with my former 4th graders, and I am so excited! My classroom provides flexible seating and a hands-on approach to math and science. I provide specialized small group instruction for students, who are energetic and ready to learn!

My students enter believing in the power of “yet.” They know they might not get it yet, but with hard work and a positive attitude, anything is possible!

My Project

I am asking for memory foam bean bag filler, which will allow me to upgrade our current classroom bean bags. The memory foam will last longer than the generic bag filler and will give new life to some of my students' favorite, flexible seating options. I am also asking for a Teacher's Pay Teachers gift card that will allow me to purchase math and science resources for my students. Finally, I have asked for a variety pack of thank you cards, which will allow me to continue writing hand-written thank you notes to my students and their families.
