My Project

In an effort to remain up to date with current pedagogical approaches for teaching Physical Education, I need to attend virtual training sessions.

Sometimes you cannot get to the training so the training must get to you.

Since the COVID Pandemic, there have been more opportunities to attend virtual professional development training, both locally and across the country. Participating in these training sessions allows Physical Education teachers, such as myself, to interface with other like-minded professionals, share ideas for best practices, and develop our pedagogical approaches surrounding current educational trends such as trauma-informed practices, modifying curriculum for diverse learners, social-emotional learning, mindful practice, and equitable practices. By attending these training sessions I continue to develop best practices for my students. When I return to the classroom, I use the skills strategies, and assessments to improve their experiences in Physical Education and help them realize their ultimate goal of reaching physical literacy. I need a wireless mouse and laptop powerful enough to support high-definition media, multiple platform presentations, and reliable internet access.
