My Project
My students love to read! I have been working hard to update our school library over the last few years. My next goal is to get updated shelving for our picture book area, to instill a love of reading in our students. Currently, we have an enormous piece of furniture that sits in the middle of the room. While it does hold books, it is massive and cannot be moved.
My vision is to have updated, mobile shelving that can be moved and reconfigured at any time. If I need space for an activity like a read aloud, this new shelving will allow me to move the shelves in order to create the necessary space for students. I believe it will make our library space more versatile and functional for students.
