My Project

A transformative initiative aimed at upgrading our robotics program by replacing the outdated mBot with the cutting-edge mBot NEO. This advanced version boasts rechargeable internal batteries, integrated Bluetooth, color-sensitive infrared light sensors, built-in Python support, and numerous other enhancements, providing students with a truly enriching and innovative learning experience.

In this engaging learning experience, each team of 2-3 students will collaborate to construct, experiment, document, and accomplish a series of imaginative assignments.

Following a similar approach to our successful initial rollout, they will master programming, troubleshooting, and presenting fundamental projects, such as responding to remote control commands with updated units, utilizing sensors to track a line on the classroom floor and make intelligent decisions, detecting obstacles and walls to navigate the robot effectively, and exploring various other exciting challenges.

Once more, the ultimate objective will be for students to skillfully program the robot to autonomously navigate through a wooden maze in our thrilling final project!
