My Students
My students come from all walks of life, creating a diverse classroom where they learn from one another on a daily basis. I want them to grow up to be critical thinkers and life-long learners who are compassionate, empathetic, and cognizant of anyone and everyone. The students who I have the pleasure of teaching are absolutely amazing. I may be partial, but they are thoughtful teenagers who are going to change the world.
It is time to invest in their futures now, by bringing them the best educational tools to help them succeed in their current and future endeavors in order to create innovative leaders of the future with social-emotional intelligence to build their character, kindness, mindfulness, and empathy.
I try to do this every day, but it really does take a village!
My Project
This project is all about updating the classroom and keeping the classroom organized. After teaching for fifteen years, things tend to get outdated, broken, and just don't work anymore. By updating the classroom, students will be able to learn in a more suitable learning environment.
Students love to learn in a clean, organized, and inviting learning environment--you can help me do that by providing students with updated decor and organization for their books and handouts.
By having a well organized and up to date learning environment, students take more pride in the classroom. When they take pride in their classroom, it often translates to taking more pride in their studies and other aspects of their life--at least, this is the hope!
