My Students

Most of my students struggle in learning math. They have a desire to understand the concepts, but it doesn't always come easy for them. They are learning how to use the tools given to them to their advantage and how to persevere through hard assignments.

My students are so excited when they finally understand the concepts and can do well on their tests.

Each little accomplishment gives them self confidence to continue trying. Even a little higher on a test score than last time helps them to know they can be successful. I love seeing their faces when they get a higher score than ever before!

My Project

My students need better tools to understand the math concepts. When they spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to use an old calculator, they waste the time they could spend on learning the concepts.

These updated calculators are easier to use, have clear notation, and will allow my students to understand the math better.

The screen is larger and they are able to enter full expressions that look like what is written on their paper. I am sure they will see more success as they use these calculators.
