My Project

The modern classroom requires us to be agile, innovative, and prepared to deliver quality instruction anywhere, at any time. My experience teaching remotely has illuminated a crucial truth: our classroom technology must be powerful enough to create engaging content and flexible enough to transition seamlessly between in-person and distance learning. A new iMac will serve as our central digital design and professional development hub.

Our existing computer is sadly becoming outdated, struggling to run the necessary software to produce the high-quality resources our students deserve.

The new iMac will solve this by becoming the engine for innovative content creation. For our students, this means I can design amazing digital resources that enhance their learning. The content created will be "remote-ready," ensuring that if students ever have to learn from home, the material won't be foreign, and we can maintain instructional continuity without missing a beat. This deliberate and conscious use of screens ensures that students are interacting with technology in a meaningful, constructive way.

Morning Meetings will be conducted with the assistance of technology. Projected on the smart board, our students can follow along with our morning songs with added effects of music and words that promote early literacy development. The same applies to other lessons.

This iMac will be a catalyst for school-wide improvement. I am eager to share these methods with my colleagues. It will function as a hub to show teachers how to craft their own engaging digital content, not only for students but also for clear, dynamic newsletters for parents, strengthening the vital home-school connection.

Tech upgrade is an investment that transcends my classroom. It will empower me to create future-proof resources for students, elevate school-wide practices, and solidify our ability to provide an excellent education, whether learners are gathered in person or connecting from afar.
