Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students wanting to find out about technologies invented in the 21st century can't find any books in our library. The average age of the technology section of our library is 1996! Students can't read about cell phones, much less electric cars!

These new up to date books about technology, engineering, and important people who have contributed to the fields will help teach students how engineers use design-based thinking to solve problems.

They can also explore the history of things that they use every day, such as toilets and crayons (!) AND they can expand their understanding of who can be an engineer.
