My Project

I am requesting a variety of graphic novels, novels in verse, and other highly engaging texts to update my classroom library. Students who are provided with highly engaging texts are more motivated to read.

I want to ensure that every student in my classroom can see themselves in a text.

This is why I am collecting a variety of texts with characters from diverse backgrounds. I have found that graphic novels and novels in verse have been very helpful to motivate students to read because students use pictures and small chunks of text to build meaning.

Mrs. Falasca will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 21.
