Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As this school year is ending, I can't help but begin planning for the next. Every year my classroom is full of bright little faces that are eager to learn despite the challenges that many are facing outside of school. I want to make their learning experience meaningful, productive, and successful. To do so, I need materials such as crayons, markers, pencils, and glue to keep my students engaged in their learning.

By having these school supplies ready and prepared before the year starts, I will be able to focus solely on teaching my students and giving them the best experience possible.

Many families often struggle with purchasing school supplies at the beginning of the year. I hope to alleviate some of this burden for them. By providing my students with these basic supplies for the school year, I hope to help my students soar into a fantastic year.
