Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am constantly using my computer for the many roles of a teacher. Preparing activity worksheets, slideshows, curating instructional videos, uploading to our online classroom, scoring and giving feedback on student work, and communicating with families, it seems there are fewer and fewer tasks that don't require a computer these days. I also curate for my lessons the many photos and videos my students take of their activities, group posters, and work products. My hard drive fills up fast and my CPU seems to slow down with it.
I am requesting a high-powered computer that can handle the everyday tasks of running a classroom, and the computationally demanding tasks that a modern teacher needs to do.
Please help me keep up with my students by donating a computer that is capable of doing as much as I do.
