My Students
Our students and families are the heart of our school! It is an exceptional school with a diverse population, both ethnically and socioeconomically. My classroom is a home away from home for my students and I know that some days they spend more time with me, than they do with their own families. I am dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to learn every day! I want them to have the tools and resources they need to explore and create deeper understandings of the world around them. They grow so much in this first year of school, and my number one priority is helping them to love school, and giving them confidence as they start their educational journey!
My Project
The current set of alphabet books I am using to teach every day is quite outdated. My students respond to colorful photographs, and the books in this set are sure to be engaging and help to reinforce our daily reading lessons. The more connections they can make to real life, the more they will learn!
I also need pencil grips to help my students who are struggling with the placement of their fingers around pencils and the ones in this project are the best and most effective I have ever used.
