Upfront is the high-school current events magazine that inspires and empowers students to engage with the world they live in and think critically about the news and information they consume. The compelling stories connect history to the present day and make current events relevant to teens and their lives.
Upfront is so much more than a magazine, it is a way for teens to become aware of the world around them, while learning how to analyze the stories associated with their society, and then inter-connect to that world in today's terms, to make a difference.
It is important to create well-rounded future leaders, but it won't happen until the students learn to think for themselves by themselves. This is my purpose, to bring to pass a generation that consumes and is able to disseminate news that is posted, while learning new vocabulary tools to become proficient in today's society – creating strong leaders.
