Our 1st grade class is made up of eager students who LOVE to learn! They are creative, determined, and so much fun to be around. However, they are very diverse in the way they think and process information.
My 1st graders are from various cultural backgrounds and various socioeconomic backgrounds, too.
Our school is an A school and has been for YEARS! I am proud to teach where I teach and won't ever give up on my passion!
My students love school and work together every day, no matter the circumstance. We want to step outside of the box! These children are ready to try new things and so am I! My class is so special and I know they will appreciate anything and everything that is donated to them.
My Project
If I am able to attend the SDE National Conference this summer, I will learn fresh instructional strategies to help meet the standards and elevate my students' critical thinking abilities. I will also learn how to implement innovative ideas using technology in the classroom. This conference will leave me with a toolkit of new ideas to take to the classroom!
Attending the SDE National Conference for Reading, Writing, Math and More will leave me feeling rejuvenated and excited to infuse my current teaching with creative, new ideas!
I have never been to a National Conference and am SO excited to learn!
