Teacher Professional Development: I need funding for transportation and hotel stay for the SDE National Conference held in Orlando this summer. <profdevpilot>
Our 1st grade class is made up of eager students who LOVE to learn! They are creative, determined, and so much fun to be around. However, they are very diverse in the way they think and process information.
My students love school and work together every day, no matter the circumstance.
We want to step outside of the box! These children are ready to try new things and so am I! My class is so special and I know they will appreciate anything and everything that is donated to them. My 1st graders are from various cultural backgrounds and various socioeconomic backgrounds too! We work and learn at an A school and are very proud of this!
My Project
I will use your donation in order to pay for my gas and hotel stay. We all know teachers are underpaid and this project will help me get to and from Orlando without having to pay for gas. It will also pay for my entire stay while attending the conference!
Attending the SDE National Conference for Reading, Writing, Math and More will leave me feeling rejuvenated and excited to infuse my current teaching with creative, new ideas!
I have never been to a National Conference and am SO excited to learn!
