This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students LOVE science! They are very curious third graders. I want to give then as many opportunities to learn with hands-on materials as possible.

When using the MECHANICS: Pulley Drives set students will learn how Pulley drives can be used to transfer force with reduced friction and how they can increase force or speed.

These materials will allow my students to build and see science in action. We have learned about forces and motion this year, but we did not learn about pulley systems. These pulley sets will help students work together to learn how pulley systems work.
