My Project

My 8th grade AVID students recently finished reading the book Unwind by Neal Shusterman. They absolutely LOVED it. Many of them have even requested we start reading another of his books. It has been amazing to see a love of reading sparked within a group of students. As part of a Title 1 school, I do not often have the resources to be able to offer my student opportunities to meet authors - especially one they are so excited about.

Imagine how excited the students will be when they have the opportunity to virtually meet and speak with an award winning author.

The students have expressed how much they wish they could ask Mr. Shusterman all of the questions they have about the book Unwind. I would love to give them this chance.
