My Students

I teach a very energetic and fun 6th grade classroom. We are a room filled with much diversity and many cultures mixing together, so there is always something to learn. Located next to government housing, we get many refugees which speak everything from Russian, Arabic, Vietnamese, etc. not to mention Spanish.

Due to a large amount of English Language Learners, we are always in need of accommodations that students can work with when using self-paced programs.

We would love and appreciate your help.

My Project

I would like to invest in a class set of Bluetooth headphones, as the wired ones don't last very long. The students are on different levels due to the wide variety and spectrum of ELLs, and different stages of the curriculum as well. Not having enough of them slows down the individual learning process at times. Also, so much time gets wasted trying to wind them up, put them in bags, and storing them, not to mention retrieving them without a tangled hitch!

Therefore, the students need to be able to work at their own pace and having the bluetooth headphones will assist in this.

Having Bluetooth headphones will help save much needed time, and ensure they will last longer than if we had to fuss with wired ones and their shortages.
