Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, eager learners who thrive when given the right tools to succeed. First, I’m requesting Enola Holmes mystery novels in both English and Spanish.
These exciting and relatable stories will build their confidence, foster independence, and support their academic growth.
Many of my students are already talking about the series, and I want to harness that enthusiasm by offering them books they’re genuinely excited to read.
Second, I’m asking for stickers to use as rewards in their Leadership Binders under the “Bobcat Den” tab. These will serve as positive incentives for achievements in academics (math, science, reading), sports, and other interests like Pokémon, soccer, football, baseball, and softball.
Lastly, I’d love to add a new Harry Potter Lego set to our Lego station. Building promotes creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork—a fun and meaningful reward for their hard work.
