Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious and creative my students are, especially when it comes to exploring STEM topics. My goal this year is to take my current unit of STEM to the next level! These tablets will really boost what we already have by giving the kids even more chances to express themselves and try new things. With apps like ChatterPix, Toontastic, Quiver, and Draw and Tell, students can make stories, animations, and drawings that bring their ideas to life in ways that go beyond just worksheets or lectures.
Having more tablets means I can set up different stations in the STEM lab where small groups of students can rotate and work together on different projects.
This helps promote teamwork and lets every student get hands-on time with the technology, which is so important for their learning. It also supports different learning styles by giving kids choices in how they explore and create.
These tablets will help my students build important skills like creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, all while having fun and staying excited about STEM. I can’t wait to see the amazing things they’ll make!
